ASSISTANCE FOR IZYUM HOSPITAL (873.000 UAH)

The fund purchased and delivered important medical equipment for the Izyum Central Hospital for the total amount of 873.000 UAH, namely: a sterilizer, 2 electrocardiographs, and 2 electrosurgical devices.

Military operations in Izyum began in February 2022. The Izyum direction was one of the most dangerous, the city was under constant shelling, and local residents, together with the Armed Forces, actively fought for their own freedom and the inviolability of Ukraine. From April 1 to September 10, 2022, the city was under occupation.

After the liberation of the city by the Ukrainian military, the whole world became aware of the atrocities of the Russian army in Izyum. The city was badly affected, including the Izyum Central Hospital.

The hospital suffered significant destruction from shelling in March 2022, and the medical staff of the hospital conducted complex operations in the basement of the medical institution. But even in such a difficult situation, hospital workers tried to provide assistance to local residents.

Russians destroyed a large part of the hospital and almost all the equipment. The equipment we purchased will help to provide first aid to people with mine-explosive injuries and damage caused by hostilities. About 40 people receive medical care here every day.

The total population of Izyum today is 20,000, but every day more and more residents return to the city.
